End of February's Stashbusting
Time for something a bit different. I have built up an overflowing jar of ends of yarn cut off knitting and crochet projects. Someone on Loving Hands had said that she kept a knitted boob handy and stuffed it with yarn ends - so I decided to knit one and fill mine the same way. I didn't have quite enough to stuff it completely and had to use a little conventional stuffing, but it did most of the job!
The knitted boobs are used by midwives and breastfeeding counsellors to teach breastfeeding - apparently brightly coloured ones are great ice breakers!

Hmm - hadn't thought of my busty stashbusting being a play on words! ;-) Not firing on all cylinders at the moment!
DeleteA great way to bust the stash Julia nothing gets wasted! I keep all my end in a pretty jar, I never throw them away, neither does my boyfriend he collects all the ends I leave lying around at his house and he has a huge pile of them. He says you'll see they will come in handy one day, wait till I tell him about your boob haha

DeleteIt might have been me that left that comment on Loving Hands. I mixed the wool with proper stuffing though as it was going to be too heavy otherwise.
